All Points Connect – Lisa Bachman, president
Q: Give us an example of a business challenge your organization faced, as well as how you overcame it.
All Points Connect was involved in a large project that entailed managing 35 distribution teams in cities across the country. All staff was lined up, confirmed and ready to go. With approximately four hours notice, the client asked us to move the promotion to that night, which was a week ahead of schedule. APC rallied our team and got everyone involved to pitch in, contact all our employees to get everyone rescheduled. The project went off without a hitch.
Q: In what ways are you an innovative leader, and how does your organization employ innovation to be on the leading edge?
All Points Connect is always researching new ways to implement campaigns. Technology and social media are changing so quickly that we have to be on top of all mediums available to our clients. Our team innovates by listening to the needs of our clients and determines the best solution to meet the goal. Sometimes that means using the latest and greatest technologies; however, many times, it means sticking to basics and keeping it simple.
Q: What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned and how have you applied it?
The greatest lesson that we apply in our company every single day is to communicate openly, honestly and with respect. We all have our differences, but remembering that everyone’s perspective is important brings those differences to resolution. We all recognize that our intentions are always for the better of the company and we don’t take things personally. We also reward for asking for help when needed rather than trying to do something yourself and failing.
Q: How does your organization make a significant impact on the community and regional economy?
All employees of APC are involved in community service both individually and through the company. APC has recently become involved with an anti bullying campaign in schools by launching a tolerance initiative. We are currently planning an event for March of 2011 in which we will expose people to how to become accepting of the differences in others and how they can become involved in community service. Additionally, APC has created hundreds of local jobs by hiring students to fulfill our marketing campaigns. They gain valuable real life experience that they translate into better career opportunities.
