The scoop on Park Place Technologies from Ed Kenty, president and CEO.
Q: Give us an example of a business challenge your organization faced, as well as how you overcame it.
Park Place has not only survived, but thrived in the face of the recession. We are proudly based in Northeast Ohio, and will remain here. The great pool of talent and resources is an asset to our business. We invested in our business infrastructure over the last two years, giving Northeast Ohio-based consulting companies work, and thereby contributing back into the local economy that way.
Additionally, we believe we gained 1.5 times our investment in that infrastructure.
Q: In what ways are you an innovative leader, and how does your organization employ innovation to be on the leading edge?
Park Place has invested in using integrated systems, combined the best personal and automated service structure, leveraged our supply chain, and uses technology and personalized service to enhance its client experience, and therefore, its business overall.
Q: What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned and how have you applied it?
Serving clients, doing great work, going above and beyond to help a client is always worth it for your business, and ultimately, will reward your bottom line.
Q: How does your organization make a significant impact on the community and regional economy?
We’ve made a significant impact on the community and regional economy by remaining in Northeast Ohio, bringing national accounts to a Northeast Ohio company, recruiting and growing our people and property portfolio in Northeast Ohio, and of course, in being responsible corporate citizens and giving back to the community through our corporate giving campaigns.
